Cooking Mama moves to mobile phones

Will the success of the Cooking Mama franchise ever yield? Taito is so pleased with the series they are bringing the game to mobile phones in 2008. Carriers have not been announced, but it “is expected to be available on most major mobile carriers”.

I wonder how Taito is going to alter Cooking Mama with button presses instead of motions. The simple controls are what made Cooking Mama a hit because other food games before Cooking Mama like Yoshinoya and CoCo Ichibanya Curry House never got much as much attention.
