Fighting over foliage in Leaf Garden

While scouring the halls of the Tokyo Game Show student games I stumbled upon Leaf Garden for the Xbox 360. It’s a competitive four player game with a simple concept: swipe the falling leaves with your bug catching net. Whoever gets the most points wins.

You can choose to play nice by just grabbing leaves, but if you’re the competitive type you can swing a giant fan that knocks leaves away from the other players. Right before the timer runs out the game drops a frenzy of leaves, which leaves plenty of room to turn around a “fight”.

It’s far from the prettiest student developed game, but Leaf Garden’s premise is amusing enough to make it worth mentioning.
