Korean Elite Beat Agents revealed

eba.jpgI’ve been wondering how Nintendo was going to handle Elite Beat Agents in Korea and since we’re nearing the October 11 release date information is pouring out. The short story is it’s Elite Beat Agents with nothing special except for Korean text. They get the same Western soundtrack and unless Nintendo is hiding something there will not be any K-Pop songs in this. I wonder how Korea is going to respond to Y.M.C.A. and if it would have sold better if BoA was splattered on the cover.

that sux. i havent picked up any versions of elite beat agents since im not really into my ds but if the korean version had korean songs, i might have imported the korean version.

  • bummer, I would’ve gotten it if it has different songs in it

  • Ryu Kazama

    No Epik High. Booo!

  • Korean music is actually become more and more popular in Japan so I am surprised that they didn’t actually use any Korean music. Pretty disappointing.

That sucks. I was ready to get my copy of the Korean version if there were going to be K-pop songs on it. Also importing the American version isn’t the best format, the Ouendan format would’ve suited Korea much better. If NoK is planning to release another one, use the Ouendan format and put some k-pop songs on it. I’ve played both versions and it’d be nice to play the game with old school artists like Roo’ra or DJ DOC.
