Marvelous picks up Mushishi makes it a life simulator

Nearly any kind of fighting anime gets a video game at some point, but it’s rare for a Seinin series like Kino’s Journey or Mushishi to get licensed. I’m pretty surprised Marvelous decided to publish a game based on it because doesn’t even follow a central plot. It’s an excellent series though about a wanderer and how these spiritual insect-like creatures, mushi, affect humans. I’m certainly curious about this title because of the license and the genre. Marvelous is coining it as a life simulator on the Nintendo DS.

This game was/is just about to be released in Japan today. Glancing at screens and reading about it, seems rather interesting -- especially for DS. Cover art is nice as well.
