SNK formally announced that NeoGeo games are going to start appearing on the Wii in Europe October. The first title is going to be Fatal Fury, which will be followed by World Heroes and Art of Fighting. Just like Japan and North America each NeoGeo virtual console download costs 900 points. Since the rest of the world will have NeoGeo games this month, there is a good chance SNK will release the first NeoGeo game in North America too.
I totally agree with Veilknight. Although I think over time SNK will continue to bring out all of their titles seperately(ie. Metal Slug 1-6). I guess if you missed out on one of the series then you might want to fill in the gaps. But that market is relatively small anyways.

Unfortunately, I can’t really say with a straight face that Fatal Fury, World Heroes, or Art of Fighting are exactly the perfect titles to jump start the launch of Neo-Geo titles on Wii, especially when you consider Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting are readily available through their respective anthology collections on PS2 at a fairly reasonable price as well.
I’d say if anyone really wanted to replay these games from their childhood past, they’re better off purchasing those compilations and saving themselves a few extra bucks in their wallets, which could possibly be spend on more worthy titles such as Magician Lord, Neo Turf Masters, or Shock Troopers.
