Here’s a lesser known tidbit on the whole release of Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkeness. Last year Nippon Ichi Software released Disgaea Portable and it included Etna’s story mode. However, ad-hoc multiplayer was not in the game. If you want wireless battles you have to purchase Makai Senki Disgaea Portable: Tsuushin Taisen Hajime Mashita, which comes out after the North American release. Granted it’s at a budget price, but that means you would have to get two games to enjoy the single North American release.
