Etrian Odyssey, the sequel images While we’re browsing through the awesome user tips (seriously we love them, keep sending them in!) Jason L. sent us word about a sequel to Etrian Odyssey. Sekaiju no Meikyu II is currently in development and at least three new classes are being added in.

The Doctor Magus specializes in support magic, but has the strength of a fighter.

The Gunner class has magically charged bullets like the flame shot and ice shot.

The Pet class allows you to add a bear to your party. Awesome.

Atlus is updating the visuals and adding in a much needed quick save feature so you can keep your progress in the middle of a dungeon.

Thank you! The main problem I had with the first game was that I had go back and forth from the dungeon to town just to save.
What a hassle - not to mention all the times I ("needlessly") died after leveling up, then starting from scratch.
The first few floors felt like they took forever.
