Why does the Wii have to consalty have to have party games!

I like the Wii, but things like this tick me off. The Wii is constalty getting stuck with kiddie games, while PS3 and Xbox 360 get cool games like Resident Evil 5 and Dead Space. It just sucks. Even worse, the Wii has been compared to the likes of the PS2 and PSP.

The Wii has great pontential and when the GameCube was out, games like Dead Space were usually on the GameCube too. If one devoloper just takes some time to realize what the Wii is, the Wii might not get crap like Anibus 2. Can someone just do a mature game on Wii?
