I don’t doubt that Lance Henrikson or Keith David will provide some good voices.. but Seth Green is a little annoying in everything I’ve seen/heard him in. And yes, I do believe that for a game of this type, voice overs can either help make the game experience better or hurt it. Dialog has always been a huge focus from the start of development it seems.

In games where story and character interaction are at the forefront, professional voice acting will always help. I’m not necessarily concerned about getting famous people – I don’t really need the “oh wow, it’s so-and-so” factor – but hiring talented people makes all the difference. (And Seth Green as the pilot sort of reminds me of Alan Tudyk in Firefly/Serenity, but that could just be a red-hair thing.)

Keith David has a great voice that I think lends itself well to a game…. Seth Green, I dunno

But a game so heavily based on dialogue you’d better have some decent voice actors in there.
