Aksys to bring Koukou Kunio Kun Dodge Ball Bu out of JapanIt’s got a new name, Super Dodgeball Brawlers, but I don’t think anyone crossing their fingers for an international release of Chou Nekketsu Koukou Kunio-Kun Dodge Ball Bu will care. In the DS game you can create your own dodgeball character, slam the other team with the panda shot and if that doesn’t get you closer to victory you can resort to street fighting.

While Arc System Works has not announced a release date, Aksys has the localized version scheduled for Spring 2008.

It won’t, sadly. Arc Systems Works and Million are still a fairly small developer/publisher team, so I don’t think they have the kind of money necessary to uphold a WiFi network for this game.

…On the other hand, there is going to be wireless play, as well as download play, such that you will only need one copy of the game, to support up to 8 people. To me, that speaks to me a great deal more than a WiFi option that might end up getting in the way.
