Out of nowhere Crazy Climber returns

ccwii.jpgNihon Bussan who pretty much vanished from the video game scene after the 80s is back as a Nintendo Wii developer. Their first title is an updated version of Crazy Climber, an arcade game where you had to scale a skyscraper while dodging falling objects. The Wii version adds in a few new features like 3D graphics and four player co-op. However, Crazy Climbers is ridiculously priced at 6,090 yen ($53) when it comes out on December 20. I can’t imagine this flying of store shelves at that price. What’s worse is this would probably have done well as a WiiWare game and that steady stream of cash may have even brought Nihon Bussan back into business.

You had me at Crazy Climber and lost me at $53. That’s just crazy

Actually, Nihon-Bussan is still in the “less reputable” end of the gaming business, they have a long line of X-rated Mah-Jongg arcade games….
