Concerto Gate coming to North America in ‘08

cgate.jpgI just got a surprise e-mail confirming Square-Enix’s cash-op MMORPG, Concerto Gate, is bound to arrive in the USA in December 2008. However, Square-Enix isn’t publishing it, OnNet USA is. They have plans to open up a public beta in the first half of 2008.

I mentioned that I was curious about Concerto Gate before because it fuses elements of console RPGs like random battles in a MMO environment. There is also this terraform system where players alter the world by digging holes and working with others to level forests. Might be kind of neat to check out when the public beta arrives and we’ll be sure to tell you when that is.

I’ve played this game, it’s VERY storyline heavy and instruction heavy. At the time I was crazy about Japanese MMO’s even though I didn’t know any of the language (Yet Fantasy Earth Zero was one of the best MMO’s I’ve ever played) . It was confusing in Japanese, but in plain old English it’s going to be really fun I hope.

    Looking foward to this, Thanks.
