To be honest, I'm looking forward to this game due to its overall feel and because I love strategic games. The graphics and sound seem to be getting great reviews so thats a bonus. Published by the quirky and innovation Nintendo, we can surely be looking for something different from most games out in the public.

PS: Aisya isn't that weird of a name as some may first think. Japanese sounds come out different from English. For our common names of Jennifer and Derek, Japan would find us extremely eccentric. Also, I'm looking forward to Aisya being in SSB4. ;p

I agree with meikiyou. That is, if I understand him properly.

ASH was anything but a flop. Selling 70,000 copies for a game that wasn't even advertised seems pretty good to me. And let's play up the double-tapping a bit more, shall we? Like no other DS games ever have interface problems. Ever. It doesn't get in the way THAT much. And the map graphics aren't that bad. Really. It's DS for gods sake, not PS3, which makes the sheer amount of frames in the pre-rendered attack scenes that much more impressive.

ASH has deep, smooth gameplay, good voice acting, a challenging campaign, extremely original graphic design, and a nice story. It got a 33/40 from Famitsu, which is not a shameful score at all.

Just had to rant somewhere. Sorry.

do the 2d graphic matter this good? i played fo 3 hours and is one of the best srpg ever which i played alongside with fft, ogre t,and other. The double tap isn' realized while playing and the strategies lacks geographical influences but the distance between character is very very nice, the turn based battle too is easy and helps a lot in deeper the immersion alongside with the animation of attacks, a must have one

I'm sure I would try this game out at some point, having enjoyed Blue Dragon and looking forward to Lost Odyssey, just not getting it for $60 yet w/ these flaws.. It seems like Mistwalker is sticking to traditional turn-based so far.

The double tapping does sound repetitive, probably give players carpal tunnel syndrome, holding the stylus for a prolonged of time is tiring. I hope this game would go on sale soon if it's not selling too well, I'm really curious about this game (finally finished Jeanne d'Arc yesterday).

I don't mean to be picky or anything, the characters' names are quite weird, Aisya, Bullnequ, etc, sometimes you wish they should've been written in just Jpn.. I truly hope the story is worth it for this SRPG.

I'm really fed up with the obnoxious confirmation bug that seems to plague Japanese developers. I know being polite is part of their culture, but when you've played the game for 100 hours and they still hold your hand through your choices, it's really sickening. Hello Final Fantasy Tactics / Advance.

I've barely kept up with the game, keeping a moderate interest knowing it was helmed by experienced developers and is an example of one of my favorite genres in gaming, but have been waiting for, like with all games, a non-biased look at it.

After reading this, I'm really sure I want to try it out. I just really wish there was something more set in stone about a North American release.
