Japanese variety show gets a grasshopper jumping Wii game

I’m not entirely familiar with Hanetobi outside of their 100 yen pseudo-game show bit. However, Namco Bandai is and they are basing a Wii game off the TV show. The concept is rather rudimentary, but you can’t expect too much from a 3,990 yen Wii game ($35). You shake the controller to run, press the A button to vault and then slide the controller horizontally to scoot forward. Rinse, repeat with multiplayer.

I guess the only thing that makes it even remotely interesting is the characters from the show dressed up in grasshopper costumes. But here at Siliconera we like to point out stuff that has absolutely no chance of coming to the USA or Canada.
