Resident Evil: Extinction is not going to be the last Resident Evil film, but it may be the last one to star Milla Jovovich. Biohazard: Degeneration is the next Resident Evil flick and it isn’t a live action movie, it’s the first full length computer animated film based on the zombie blasting franchise. Degeneration will have a new plot, which has not been divulged at this time.

We should be hearing about it sometime soon though. Sony Pictures Japan and Capcom plan to bring Biohazard: Degeneration out in 2008. However, it has not been announced if Biohazard: Degeneration will be in theaters or if it will be a direct-to-DVD release.
