More Monster Hunter in March

mhp2g.jpgWhile most of the Monster Hunter news has been focused on the Wii, the PSP version is doing quite well on its own. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 went on to sell over a million copies in Japan and that warrants a follow up in Capcom’s eyes.

In March 2008 they are going release Monster Hunter Freedom 2G. Capcom plans to satiate fans with more monsters, stages and “other goodies”. While you can play Monster Hunter Freedom 2G as a stand alone game fans of the series can load their data from Monster Hunter Freedom 2 directly into the game.

To commemorate the release of Monster Hunter Freedom 2G, Capcom will also release a Monster Hunter Freedom 2G PSP Slim & Lite Pack. This is probably going to be a bundle pack with a limited edition Monster Hunter Slim PSP, the game and maybe some other trinkets. At this time Capcom has not announced a North American release for Monster Hunter Freedom 2G, but chances are it will be coming out in the future.

This is one game that I’am going to get. It reminds me of Phantasy Star online except with dinosaurs and rugged guys fighting it out!

It would be nice to see this one out in the states.

Can’t wait to get this, I’ll probably import it if it doesn’t come to the U.S.
