Erase the vague February 2008 release date for Devil May Cry 4 from your mind and replace it with February 5, 2008. Devil May Cry 4 comes out then in two flavors: a boring stand alone game and the steelbook collector’s edition. For $79.99 you get a second disc with a making of Devil May Cry 4 feature, a digital artbook, music from the soundtrack and some PC goodies like wallpapers. Nice, but the real treat is volume 1 of the Devil May Cry anime series. The first of the four disc anime series comes with four episodes and normally sells for $29.99 alone. Essentially, you’re saving $10 and getting a bonus DVD compared to buying the first volume of the anime plus Devil May Cry 4 separately.

I wonder what Japan will get.

I saw the press release in my feeds a few hours ago.

For those that are interested, the anime is pretty good, think of it like Hellsing but with DMC characters.

haven’t seen the anime, but frankly i don’t want to, i think they should give something else like maybe a real art book instead of digital that sounds better
