AtomReturn of the Way of the Samurai
It’s been over four years since the last Way of the Samurai game, but the series is far from forgotten. Spike, who publishes Acquire’s Samurai Dou games in Japan, has two new titles in the series listed for 2008. Playstation 3 owners get Samurai Dou 3 and Xbox 360 gamers get Way of the Samurai Online. Hmm… what could the online component be? Hack and slash co-op play? Or something like online Bushido Blade? I sure hope so!

Online Bushido Blade or Kengo would be fantastic. Co-op would be nice too though.

Way of the Samurai 1 was crazy fun. The voice acting in 2 was atrocious. I hope they don’t dub 3 if it heads over here.

Hm, as far as I remember, the Xbox360-Version of WotSOnline was canceled sometime in summer (at least it was labeled as discontinued in Famitsu Weekly). However, Spike never removed the titel from their website….

I am a huge fan of the Way of the Samurai series. I hope they address some of the problems in WotS2 and make this new third game perfect.
