For the past few weeks Japan has been presumably enjoying World Heroes Gorgeous. We mentioned that it was coming to North America and SNK sent us an update to let us know we’re not going to see it until Spring 2008. While you’re waiting for World Heroes Anthology, King of Fighters XI should keep you busy when it comes out next week. Then on December 14 NeoGeo Battle Coliseum gets released for a mere $14.99.
My mistake, I almost thought you had written that KOF was next year and WH this year. In respect, I rescind any remarks towards SNK P.
Three cheers for KOF!
Neo Geo Battle is coming? I thought that it wasn’t. I sure hope I am understanding this. At any rate, any SNK game coming out needs to be shown some love.
@badfish - SNK is bringing over 100% bringing over Neo Geo Battle Coliseum.
I think it was for the best that SNK decided to delay World Heroes Anthology until next year during Spring 2008. They should definitely place more emphasis on releasing KOF XI and the aforementioned Neo Geo Battle Coliseum first, as there’s definitely more fan demand for those titles among their back catalog of import PS2 fighters. World Heroes can wait, as it’s much more obscure, and would naturally have gotten overlooked by most gamers in favor for the former.
With that said, I’m still looking forward to purchase World Heroes Anthology in Spring 2008 next year, nonetheless. As a matter of fact, I’d get the compilation alone for World Heroes Perfect, arguably the best game in the series. For the very low budget price of $14.95, it’s a steal compared to importing the title from Play-Asia for $49.50.
Meh, I’ve been enjoying KoF XI and Neo Geo Battle Coloseum for a while now.(yeah go PAL go!)
Not sure if I’ll pick up world heroes or not. I’ve seen plenty of videos on it but I don’t actually know whats in it yet. Time for some research I say.
yeah!!!!!!, Another compilation of snk’s classic fighting games. I’ll buy it for sure!!!!!!!
