Is red the new designer color for handhelds? The DS has a two toned Crimson Red system and later this year the PSP is coming out in two shades of robust rouge. Europe gets a Spider-Man 3 bundle packaged with a red slim PSP (top), Spider-Man 3 the game and Spider-Man 3 the movie on UMD.

Not to be left out Japan is getting a red slim PSP (bottom) on December 13, a Deep Red slim PSP with Deep Red buttons. Collectors take note that the Spider-Man 3 slim PSP Europe has black buttons. They're different. If you’re eager to import the new color you can get the Deep Red slim PSP plus a pouch and a 32 MB Memory Stick Pro Duo for 22,800 yen ($199). Sony is releasing another Deep Red bundle that throws in the 1seg TV tuner and 1 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for 29,800 yen ($260). Remember, the 1seg TV tuner will not work outside of Japan, which makes the second package an unattractive option for importers.
