You played through Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations right? If not you should! The localization is excellent and the writers are known to sneak in humorous references.  For instance the forth case makes a brief reference to Final Fantasy IV's classic insult.

If only there weren’t so many typos and text glitches in this game, it would be my favorite book/comic

This isnt the only awesome homage to geek culture in the game. Later, when they visit a computer company, the person they are interviewing is speaking in lots of complex words about their security policy. Maya says “This is madness!” And phoenix says “No, this is SPARDA!!!”. *he then explains what sparda means. Its the security policy.
