Kousoku Card Battle Card Hero adds online play

cardbattle.jpgWhile Nintendo has been passionately promoting Wii Fit, Kousoku Card Battle Card Hero is waiting in the limelight. Intelligent Systems is developing the DS game as a follow up to Card Hero & Trading Battle, a year 2000 Game Boy Color title. Like other card games you use 150 cards to summon monsters and cast spells.

So what makes this special compared to the other card battling games on the Nintendo DS? It uses Nintendo Wi-Fi so you can battle with fellow gamers across Japan. However, Kousoku Card Battle Card Hero isn’t the first game to do this. Konami’s Marvel Trading Card game has this and so does a version of Yu-Gi-Oh. I guess it’s going to be up to the battle system then, which the title suggests is “light speed”.
