Dungeon Explorer returns in February 2008

dexplorer.jpgNow that the Demon God has been resurrected, you have to venture into a dungeon and slay monsters in February of next year when Dungeon Explorer: Warrior of the Arts comes out. But you already knew it was coming out in English right? A few months ago I spotted an English build of the game sitting at Tokyo Game Show.

While the PSP and DS versions share the same name they are not the same game. In the PSP game you search for an ancient kingdom and link up with up to three people through ad-hoc play. The DS game takes place centuries after the PSP game where the Demon God rends Westoria Kingdom a barren wasteland. Dungeon Explorer for the DS supports Nintendo Wi-Fi where up to three players can meet and adventure together. However, the DS release only has 60+ fighting arts while Dungeon Explorer on the PSP has at least 150 different attacks including Big Bang arts where three players combine their powers.

The sad irony is seeing that nobody was interested when the original Dragon Explorer hit VC, I bet nobody will buy this game!
