The always entertaining Surfer Girl has a neat tidbit about the Wii version of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance over at such things that never was. Before Marvel: Ultimate Alliance shipped to stores Samus and Link were supposed to appear alongside Spider-Man and the Hulk. However, Nintendo did not give Activision approval to do this and the two characters were removed from the final build. Considering how well Link contributed to Soul Calibur II sales, gamers may have overlooked the lack of online play in the Wii version to get their hands on a Samus and Silver Surfer team.
Yeah, it was supposed to be Luigi and Pauline (Mario’s long lost girlfriend, before he dumped her for a princess)
I wonder if AV is just off thier rockers to just put them in and expect Nintendo to be happy? Soul Calibur II certainly had Link, but SC is an actual GOOD game by a company with a good and long history, Activision’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance is neither.
link and samus going against galactus and apocalypse, i would’ve loved to see that, and them teaming up with mavel legends like the x-men or fantastic four would’ve been awesome, i demand nintendo remake this game and include them!!!!!!

Link and Samus can only do so much for the sales of mediocre games
