Nintendo had a big surprise today for Japanese Wii owners. The "Everybody's Nintendo" Channel launched today in Japan. Bringing game information, release dates, preview videos, and most excitingly, downloadable DS demos, to the Wii. You can reportedly even use the channel to recommend games to friends. While there's no word of a US launch for this channel at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if it popped up in the US soon, considering that the gap between regional releases of Wii Channels hasn't traditionally been that long. Now if only they could figure out a way to get Wii demos on the channel!
