Final Fantasy IV DS fleshes out Cecil’s past

Square-Enix mentioned Final Fantasy IV for the Super Famicom had cuts. Only about third of the scenario was used and some of the lost pieces are making their way into Final Fantasy IV for the DS. New story sequences will delve into the back stories of Cecil and Golbez. I hope Square-Enix shines some light on the other characters too. Final Fantasy IV is so focused on present events little information is given about Edge’s relationship with his parents and Kain’s history.
