Portable Poker, High Stakes on the Vegas Strip supports remote play

highstakes.jpgHigh Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition has neat features like webcam support and avatars, but I passed on it. I can play poker online for free with my computer. Most online poker rooms do not have the fancy bells and whistles High Stakes on the Vegas Strip has, but neither does a deck of standard playing cards.

There is one notable feature that may make High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition worth purchasing. Scott S. sent over a tip (thanks!) that a recent High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition patch allows the Playstation Network game to work over remote play. Now poker addicts can muck their cards at a coffee shop, office, bathroom or wherever they can find a Wi-Fi signal and carry their PSP. I'm not sure if you can log on to online games via remote play, but if you can this downloadable game suddenly got much more interesting.
