The line was at least 250 people long, and the store had about 200 Wiis. It was really awesome, I made so many friends, it was really cool ^___^; We all played DS and talked about why we wanted a Wii and then just started talking about anything. The Toys R Us was actually like, a major one, like, Nintendo was doing something special with it, thats why it had over 200 Wiis while most places had like 10. Only 8 other stores in the nation got that many. (Or something like that. =() =) Ya, I had to camp out launch day…(night?) for about 6 hours at a Toys R Us. Then one came out with a bat, and another got in their car, so we decided the joke had run its course and departed. One came along just for the fun of it, and the other was actually looking to get his own Wii. So we went and camped out in front of the mall for more than 10 hours. Of course, this was LAST Christmas season, so it was even worse. Dozens of people got turned away by the end. It was only near-freezing for us, though my Floridian friend tells the story quite differently. Naturally, since I wasn't actually getting a Wii, I ran back to my house, got some food for all of us, and brough a TV, a gamecube, and Smash Bros. It was a blast.
