Hunting mammoths with the Wii remote

jawa.jpgWe have plenty of games with ninjas, pirates and dragons, not as many with dinosaurs or cavemen. Spike is going to change this in March 2008 with Jawa ~ Mammoth to Himishi no Ishi ~, a simulation game in development for the Wii where Neanderthal man and dinosaurs live side by side. Jawa has to build a civilization in the rough world by foraging for food and bonking saber toothed tigers on the head. Intuitively, players flick their wrists to whack beasts with their club. The blocky art style is rather eye catching too, but it probably won't attract the attention of gamers looking for lavish HD visuals.

This game seems like a good caveman sim.

Dinosaurs and cavemen never lived side-by-side! This is simulating absurdity.

Heh, sorry, I had to. Seems fun, though.
