Ryu ga Gotoku returns in March 2008

On March 6, 2008 Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan arrives in Japan. Unlike the other Ryu ga Gotoku / Yakuza titles this is not set in modern times, Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan puts players in the Edo period of Japan. Yakuza barely made a dent in North America, but Ryu ga Gotoku was a hot seller in Japan. Perhaps, Sega’s crime drama can boost the PlayStation 3’s user base when it debuts in Japan. Sega has not mentioned any plans about bringing Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan to North America yet since we’re still waiting for Yakuza 2 to arrive sometime next year.
