Dekotora (slang for Decoration Truck) is a hobby in Japan where autophiles deck out big rigs with neon lights and extravagant paint jobs. On February 28, 2008 Jaleco is bringing truck art to the Wii with Zenkoku Dekotora Matsuri. Players get to design their own trucks by adding disco lights and custom paint jobs. Once customized, players can hit the highway and impress virtual pedestrians. Zenkoku Dekotora Matsuri is only confirmed for Japan and due to the niche nature of the hobby it’s probably staying there even though NIS America has a relationship with them.

I’ve been playing one of Jaleco’s NES games lately; Totally Rad. I thought that they were pretty much nonexistant nowdays.
