Choices? Beats versus Wild ARMs

By Spencer . December 6, 2007 . 3:19pm

beats.jpgToday, PSP owners in North America can nab Europe’s first downloadable game, Beats. The game takes music from your memory stick and throws it into a modern music (read: rhythm button pressing) game. I’m a sucker for these kinds of things and it’s only $5. However, Sony also released Wild ARMs in the PSOne classics section for $6. Decisions! Honestly, you should get more bang for your buck when it comes to Wild ARMs, but Beats is brand new. Hmm… maybe I’ll give that a go.

Sucks you have to have a PS3 to download these. I’d love to play Wild arms on my PSP. It was the first good RPG for the PSone. And still one of the best overall IMO.

Gaaaahhh. When they start releasing stuff like Brave Fencer Musashi, Rhapsody and Threads of Fate I’m gonna have to consider getting a PS3. @@

Spencer Says:

@Zhemos - Good news, you don’t need a PS3 to get Wild ARMs, it’s also in the PC Playstation Store (store.playstation.com). Threads of Fate would be awesome to play again and it has short levels so it would make a good game for short trips too.

It’s def. beats all the way. I was surprised at how much content they shoved into that thing.

Spencer Says:

@Andrew - oh yeah? Your suggestion is as good as gold. I’ll pick up beats then. Thanks for the advice :)

Sweet, Wild Arms is mine!
