AtomMatch wits with L in the Prologue to Death Note
After two games Konami is going for a modified graphical adventure for L: The Prologue to Death Note - Rasen no Wana, which I feel is a fitting style. As the title explicitly points out, the events in the game prelude Death Note and you get to play as a younger L cracking a case in a run down hotel. Konami posted up a preview video, which shows L battling other characters with words and diffusing traps on the touch screen.
When you watch the trailer (click on the PV button), look at the FBI flashback. Did you catch a Naomi Misora in there too? We’ll find out for sure when it comes out on February 7, 2008 in Japan.

I was quite a big Death Note fan and have contemplated getting the last two games, but the gameplay didn’t seem too interesting and it was too far off from the story. A straight up detective game w/ L might be cool.

Well this seems very interesting…
Adventure games are always a plus, and the last titles made were more silly
But this seems suitable, as the stories fit the gameplay compared to the original Death Note…
