Yeah! I've no problems with your review either :) actually, it's better that people disagree than agree to produce some interesting conflict.Ahh, the original AvP was a marvelous game. Scared the shit out of me when I first played it years ago actually. Most recently I played through AvP2 and that was such a step up. God, I remember how hectic it is when first sprinting away as a human in order to escape what seemed like hundreds of Aliens. The worst thing is they've got this incredible creature and they did nothing with it. Playing through Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow now too for review haha and immediately, the heat sensing is so much more useful, the device needed to locate important stuff, useful. SF just points out exactly what AvP-R tried and failed at or should have implemented.Rebellion dropped the ball in a big way, which is disappointing after they've developed 11 other PSP titles. Grrr.

Haha. Yeah! I do disagree with you on the level design but that's I guess why they call them opinions. I had no trouble at all getting around. It's a shame, though, that this game was so bad. I actually just got the original PC AvP working on my modern computer after years of compatability issues and I have to say, regardless of its age, it was a great, atmospheric game. Rebellion really could have done something here and just failed.

Nice review, Dan. But I'd disagree regarding the level design, which I actually found to be really confusing, especially in the mine, industrial, hospital and street areas. The map barely helped too.Why the hell can't I jump up building as the predator? Why don't aliens sneak attack me? Why can't I actually use the visions for something useful other than to locate a pipe to hit? God, so many valid questions. Rebellion really screwed this game. Oh, the honor system was worthless too considering how easy it is to just get the points you need and on top of that, it's only worth using the hand canon and staff the entire length of the game.I've posted my review up at : http://graffitigamer.com/?p=33 : if you care to look.

I had similar complaints regarding AvP-R regarding the lack of anything of interest to do other than stand there with a long stick beating giant phallic symbols into mushy eye burning pulps.
