Final Fantasy II characters appear in Dissidia

Frioniel (aka Firion outside of Japan) and his nemesis the Emperor of Palamecia are going to be in the Final Fantasy battle royale, Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Square-Enix still has more heroes to announce and the way things are progressing there should be a hero/villain combination from each Final Fantasy game.

In dream fights between Zidane and Sephiroth players control the camera with the D-pad, run with the analog stick and do HP damaging attacks with the square button. Once your character’s EX gauge is full you can press square + X to initiate EX mode where the square button does damaging EX bursts.

News for this game just keeps getting better with every little tidbit.
    Square-Enix loves its peoples.

So then if we had to pick a hero and a villain from each game; Warrior / Garland, Firion / Emperor, ? / ?, Paladin Cecil / Golbez or Kain, ? / Gilgamesh or Human Ex-Death, ? / Kefka or Gestahl, Cloud / Sephiroth, Squall / Seifer, Zidane / Kuja, Tidus / Seymour, ? / ?, Vaan / Vayne. FF3 and FFXI are pretty wide open, logically. If you drop those two, that’s 20 characters. I assume they’d want at least a few female characters, though, so some of these choices might be wrong.
