Get your sword stylus ready, Tecmo plans to release Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword this March in North America. The stylus slashing control sounds unusual, but it’s fairly intuitive. You tap enemies to throw shuriken and draw lines to emulate sword swings. I gave Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword a spin months ago a TGS and the experience was fluid, but not fluid filled like Ninja Gaiden 2. The other good news is Tecmo has Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword slated for March in Japan too, which means there shouldn’t be much of a delay between the two regions.
I thought it was pretty fun from the demo (which is downloadable at Gamestop, for anyone interested). If the whole thing comes together well, I’ll probably pick it up.
Next is to remake Ninja Gaiden I & II, from the NES version.

I wonder if they’ll release a promotional katana stylus with the preorder of the game…lol
