Microsoft prepared Xbox Live Gift Points just in time for eleventh hour holiday shoppers. If you’re in the USA you can give Xbox Live Points to a buddy so they can download Every Extend Extra Extreme or pick up a few TV episodes. However, you cannot send points to a Gamertag, you must have your friend’s Windows Live ID to take advantage of the service. It’s a neat feature to keep an eye on, especially if it goes international. This might be a way to load up international Xbox Live accounts with points to download content not available in other regions.
