Transitioning To Love Ru – Trouble – from manga love triangle to portable games

Marvelous keeps nabbing anime properties, but they are going off the beaten path with less Shonen fodder. Instead they are snatching things like To Love Ru – Trouble –, a manga series about a high school boy who has a crush on a classmate, but is caught in a love triangle with Lala, the Princess of Deviluke when she runs away from home. In 2008 an anime series arrives on TV care of TBS and in summer ’08 Marvelous is publishing two portable To Love Ru – Trouble – games.  The PSP game is labeled as a 2D adventure. Meanwhile the Nintendo DS game is a 2D digital comic with 3D action. I imagine the 3D action portion might be bunch of mini games because a platforming adventure with Rito just wouldn’t fit the series.
