If getting a retro PsOne game every few months wasn’t bad enough this excellent list of games makes the void of PsOne classics on the US store worse. The second burst update for the Japanese PlayStation store includes hits like Biohazard 2 (Resident Evil 2), Baroque and a personal favorite, Intelligent Qube. I love the over the top opera score and seeing the gray cubes plummet off the digital cliff in the game. SCEA could put this on the US PlayStation store since they own the rights at any time. Hopefully, they will do it soon and put an end to the high eBay price tag Intelligent Qube carries.
Hmm.. should I throw Baroque on my PSP, pick up an old Gust RPG or take a risk on Crime Crackers 2? Choices!
Here is what you can get for 600 yen a piece:
Biohazard 2
Atelier Marie Plus
Robin Lloyd no Bouken
Baroque
Intelligent Qube
Crime Crackers 2
Popolocrois Monogatari II
Arcade Hits: Magical Drop
Tantei Junguji Saburo Early Collection
You might be wondering why I am asking if I could just download the ISO and use CFW.
Well it’s because I rather pay for stuff then download. Call my reluctant pirate if you want.
Hell I bought wild arms 1 on the PSN eventhough I already had a downloaded ISO.
Why?
Because I want to support psone games on PSN and see more rpgs on the US PSN.
Where’s freak’n Suikoden 1 & 2, tales of destiny, xenogears, thousand arms, and so many other memorable psone rpgs. Sony should be milking psone games right now.
The US PS store is as barren as the video marketplace on the Jpn 360 :)
I would really like to try the original Baroque before playing the sequel. Need to order a PSN ticket one of these days…

So can an american psp play these games? Japanese psone games work on the psp btw through CFW, so do official JP psone games work on american psp.
If it does, do you know how to buy jp psn stuff online?
