Hudson repackages table games online for the Wii

taiougensentg.jpgShoveling a collection of board games as a Wii game was inevitable, but Hudson’s collection isn’t half bad. As the title suggests, Wi-Fi Taiou Gensen Table Games Wii includes online play through Nintendo Wi-Fi. If you pick the game up in Spring ’08 you can play Reversi, Shogi and eight other games online. Plus you can use a Mii to represent you during the match. This sounds like it could be a good Wii Ware title, but Hudson is selling it as a retail game for a yet to be determined price. If it’s around $20 I’ll bite just so I can play Go with an Admiral Ackbar Mii.

These games are included in the collection:

Backgammon

Bridge

Go

Hanaawase

Shogi

Mahjong

Daifugou

Renju

Reversi

Chess
