100 x 5000, Sony funds PlayStation Network New Year’s campaign

Sony is celebrating the New Year by giving 100 lucky gamers who purchase a game from the Japanese PlayStation store a 5,000 yen credit. Anyone who buys a PlayStation Network game or something from the PsOne Game archives folder from December 26, 2007 to January 7, 2008 is automatically entered in the drawing. If you’ve been tempted to try out Dark Mist or Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and have imported PlayStation Network points it might be a good time to use some of them. However, don’t needlessly load up on games from the US store in hopes of winning a 5,000 yen ticket, this promotion is for Japan only.
