Well it's about time we're finally getting Metal Slug 3 on XBLA. SNK Playmore have this tendency to announce ports of their classic Neo-Geo installments on consoles, and we never hear back from them about the title up until the point they're finally getting ready to release the game on a home platform.

Metal Slug 3 is more than worth the wait, however. Simply put, I can't get enough of SNK's run and gun franchise, and with Metal Slug 3 happening to be my favorite installment in the series as well, this title will be a day one purchase for me on XBLA once the game goes up for download next year on January 2, 2008. With the addition of online co-op, not to mention updated HD graphics should only serve to improve this classic tried and true formula.
