The Record of Piposaru War begins, site opens

Ape Escape’s first foray into fantasy, Sarugetchu: The Record of Piposaru War (which as Nich points out in comments may not be related to the Record of Lodoss War) has an official site up. There are a few screens to glance at and a knightly monkey munching on a banana in the left hand corner. That’s about it, but more information should be coming since the game will be at the Winter ’08 World Hobby Fair in January. Awesome!

Perhaps, I should dust off (and write about?) two odd Ape Escape games I have in my collection, Piposaru 2001 where you vacuum pants off monkeys to throw them in a giant washing machine and the McDonalds Original Happy Disc where your feed the monkeys Big Macs.
