AtomTarget Terror sets its sights on the Wii
I mentioned this before as a rumor, but now it’s confirmed that Target Terror is coming to the Wii care of Konami. Arcades are hard to come by so you may not recognize the game, but this in case you do take note this is a port of Target Terror: Gold. The “Gold” comes in the form of ridiculous mini games like hitting “baddies” wearing stereotypical ski masks that drive golf carts. The tongue-in-cheek humor is actually the best part about Target Terror, but I’m not convinced that warrants a full priced game. As a budget release it will fare much better on the shelves against Ghost Squad and The House of Dead 2 & 3 Return. I may never know why Konami chose to release Target Terror over their internal light gun games, but hopefully they will use whatever profits they earn from the project to fund a Police 911 title.

@jeffx - OK! Thanks for the suggestions. I usually don’t post links back to my original rumors since it feels to self-aggrandizing, but if it’s to make the site more useful I can do it. I usually tag posts with USA, Japan, Asia and so forth to indicate where the news is coming from implying where games are being released. But there are so many regions/titles to keep track of I should probably be more explicit about it.

Hey Spencer, my friend. Two simple things that would make Siliconera immensely better:
A) make sure you specify where the games are coming out
B) you rarely give out links to your confirmations/rumors. I like to browse when I’m bored
