AtomMaple Story DS on target for 2008
Besides a brief trailer there hasn’t been much to report about Maple Story DS. In a fantastic, but verbose 21 page feature article Brandon Sheffield ties together Korean interviews from G*Star. One of them is with Nexon and they confirm that Maple Story DS is not an MMORPG; it will be designed first and foremost as a single player action RPG with some multiplayer features. The interview also mentions Maple Story DS will launch in the “middle of next year”, which probably means sometime this year since the interview was conducted last year. I say probably because there is a slim chance that Nexon knew the interview would be published in 2008 and they adjusted their answer accordingly to represent 2009. Confusing right? One of these days I should ask Brandon to confirm, which one he meant! However, the release window is only for Korea. Nexon has yet to announce concrete plans about any other markets, which might make Maple Story DS the first tantalizing Nintendo DS import from Korea.

if i were in moose jaw could i be able to buy it?
or do you know any online websites were i can order it for ds ?
because they dont sell it in moose jaw

Awesome i always wanted an offline maple story, with multiplayer features equals il be able to play with my friends, i couldnt “possibly risk on online order” thats what my parents said but in this case idc cause the possibility of that game reaching portugal is 0.1% IL ORDER IT WHEN POSSIBLE AND IDC BOUT ANYPARENT COMPLAIN…XD went rampage a lil, wops
anyways, warn me when it is an avaible purchase online of the game, ty for the warning, my friends said it would be a maple story ds but i didnt beleive, useful topic ya got there, tyvm mate

Yah u all are dumb if u wont buy it just cuz it’s “offline”. hello! that means no noobs!!!!! i cant wait till it comes to usa because if it doesnt then i guess i better learn korean. later!

I find it ridiculous that people actually thought DS was capable of supporting a MMORPG.

I really doubt it will actually ever come out. Why not on the PSP as well?

well, 45 bucks saved from my wallet cuz I was only gonna buy it if it was a MMORPG cu I8 cant play ut anymore on my CPU, well mabinogi only 25 days
