PS3 edition of Lost Planet gains an exclusive character

On top of including Frank West, Joe and Mega Man from the PC version, Luka will be a playable character in the PlayStation 3 version of Lost Planet. This is the first news of any PS3 specific Lost Planet content and it’s a pragmatic decision. Capcom has to add something new to lure Lost Planet fans to check out Lost Planet for the third time.

 

Remember when Lost Planet: Extreme Condition was announced as an Xbox 360 exclusive and copies were stamped with the “only on Xbox 360 logo” last year? Instead of only giving Lost Planet a single console release or upgrades via downloadable content it feels like Lost Planet has the archaic Super Street Fighter II: Hyper Championship Edition business model.
