Take a tour of Travis Touchdown’s house

When Travis isn’t hunting members of the United Assassin Association he kicks it at the No More Heroes motel. His grungy surroundings are semi-interactive. You can’t freely move around, but you can choose what Travis does through menus.

The toilet option sounds strange, but sitting on the porcelain throne is how you save the game in No More Heroes.

You start the game with a video tape of Heavenly Star, but watching TV allows Travis to expand his arsenal of wrestling moves. Just make sure you return the tapes you borrow to the local video store.

Opening the fridge and grabbing a bite to eat restores Travis’ health meter.

Jeane is Travis Touchdown’s pet cat. She doesn’t do anything unless you choose to go over and play with him. When you pick this option you might feed the feline or wave a toy via the Wii remote.

Choosing the cards option lets you browse the trading cards found by thoroughly exploring levels and breaking treasure chests.

The closet is in Travis’ bedroom. When you pick this option you can choose shirts, pants and jackets to customize the way Travis looks. Buying clothes is one way to get new outfits, but you can also go dumpster diving in hopes of finding a rare pair of sunglasses.

Travis hides his alternate beam katanas and “special” magazines in a drawer underneath his bed. You can switch weapons here or stick with Blood Berry, his first beam katana.

Picking the map option allows Travis to scan Santa Destroy and view scores of completed missions.

The final option is the telephone, which Travis can freely use. However, the telephone is mainly around to inform Travis about the next UAA missions. With the info in hand Travis can leave his room and start earning pocket change to pay for the mission.
