Shin Chan invades European Wiis

By Spencer . January 14, 2008 . 11:01am

shinchanwii.jpg505 Games (i.e. the company who published Cooking Mama and other Atlus games in Europe) snagged the rights to Crayon Shin-Chan for Europe and they are working on a localized version of Crayon Shin-Chan: Saikyou Kazoku Kasukabe King. The Shin-Chan licensed party game debuted as a Wii launch game in Japan, which makes it over a year old. Spain gets it in March 2008, but it won’t be as “adult oriented” as the version of Shin Chan on Adult Swim. Hmm… I wonder how a Nintendo Wii party game with adult humor would sell. Sure, it’s a niche market, but it is an untapped one.

I agree, or at the very least we need to find out if the European ver. is going to have region locking, ’cause if it doesn’t I might just import it…
