North America gets Taito Wii-makes at a budget price

furufuru.jpgYou may be looking at Furu Furu Park thinking, “another motion controlled mini game collection on the Wii?” I did when I saw the price tag in Japan. Before you write it off forever, Furu Furu Park is worth a glance if you have fond memories of Taito arcade games. Packed in the compilation are Bubble Bobble, Pocky & Rocky and Arkanoid themed mini games. Perhaps, the most entertaining and obscure addition is Sonic Blastman 20XX where you punch asteroids with the remote. I’m not giving Furu Furu Park a seal of approval, but for $20 a few of the games are wacky enough to entice gamers with fond memories of Pocky & Rocky or just like to punch asteroids.

Bubble Bobbble AND Pocky & Rocky for $20? Sounds like a great deal to me!

Spencer Says:

@Louise - stripped down mini game versions of Bubble Bobble and Pocky & Rocky. Still pretty neat though!

Pedro Silva Says:

oh crap, why mini game versions of them… :/

That’s cool. I’ll buy anything that bears the Taito logo. Who’s publishing? When?

Spencer Says:

@jeffx - Majesco is publishing and it should have just came out today!
