AtomSmash Brothers Brawl delayed at the last minute
Instead of arriving in stores on February 10, Super Smash Brothers Brawl is scheduled to arrive on March 9 in North America. Japan’s release date is also pushed back a week, but only for a week. The new release date is January 31 instead of January 24. The timing of the delay raised a flag because Super Smash Brothers Brawl must be mostly complete if it is only delayed a week in Japan. However, North America’s delay is nearly a month. Perhaps, localization is going slower than expected or Nintendo is tweaking network settings for a larger land mass. Hmm… or Nintendo is trying to position Super Smash Brothers Brawl or Professor Layton and the Curious Village in a better place. With the Smash Brothers delay Layton should have a much better chance in the marketplace. Be sure to check it out on February 11.

This sucks. Email Nintendo, tell them we want a demo. Japan is getting one, it’s ridiculous that the US shouldn’t.

March 9th? I’ll believe it when I see it. I have a feeling that it’ll end up being delayed further than that… like, until November. Nintendo loves to ride these games for as long as possible, and they also seem to think that their big titles will only sell well during the holidays.

this really sucks, i already have mine reserved, now its being pushed back again MAN COME ONE NINTENDO!!! quit playing games! my time playing resident evil has run up, already beat mario galaxy, zelda, tmnt, resident evil uc, mario party 8 is old, i guess i will be left with wii sports!!!!

…………………………….March 9th………….but it used to be Februar… (deep breath)………..March 9th……………and before February it was gonna be in time for Christ..(deep breath)…..#$!%$#!$%!$!%#!%$^%@. I’ll tell you what Nintendo is putting a lot of goddam pressure on themselves with this one. The fact that sonic and solid snake are both in this game has been enough to hold me over thus far, but my God, all these new release dates, Jesus Christ better be a playable character in this game. Him or Muhammad depending on where you are from. Think about it Jesus could throw Bibles, and walk on water (inner sigh). Look at me, thanks to these delays look at the crap that I am thinking about. This game better blow the feces outta people.

taco beaver, that is precisely what nintendo wants lol, DUH! professor layton will sell less so it has to come out before the game that will dominate it in sales!

That is awesome news. Why? Because I will (hopefully, if I pass) be done with college. That means I will be back in NY. If there is a launch party, now I can go. So yay.
